Nightmare Before Christmas mayor
I always feel a little guilty warning you that we're about to plunge into holiday cooking season—like the Mayor in The Nightmare Before Christmas shouting "It's time to sound the alarms!"

I'm still kind of stuck in Halloween mode over here, putting off the thought of Thanksgiving menu planning or even getting our holiday party invitation out the door, but that doesn't mean I've just been sitting on the couch watching Nightmare on repeat. (The soundtrack, on the other hand...)

In fact, I've been very busy with my helper cats over the past month, reshooting old favorite posts and (gasp!) even adding videos to a bunch of them.

That's why this month's newsletter is all about the GFS vault, giving you a fresh look at a bunch of the recipes you love, and of course, serving up my best Thanksgiving and holiday recipes in one easy-to-bookmark spot.

If you have an old favorite Good. Food. Stories. recipe for which you'd like to see a video tutorial, shoot me a line at casey@goodfoodstories.com and I'll make it a priority!

Now get those carving knives sharpened and tie on your apron, because we've got a lot of good food to eat (and stories to share) over the coming weeks. I'll be back after Thanksgiving with a few more holiday surprises and treats.

Happy snacking,
Casey
