CBC Weekly 10-24-18

CBC Family, we hope you are having a great week so far! There's lots of good information in this week's CBC Weekly so make sure your preferences are updated so that you are receiving material from all the ministries that pertain to you. If you weren't here this past weekend you might have missed the big announcement that we are changing some of our weekend service times to help ease the traffic and parking lot on Sundays. Make sure to watch the Weekly video as Pastor Ed shares this news.

Here are a few more big things happening at Community Bible Church that are upcoming:

Compassion Weekend

CBC takes Christ’s call to love our neighbors to heart. Mexico rests deep in our hearts as our neighbor and a nation that God deeply loves. It is CBC’s desire to strategically place ourselves in Chiapas, Mexico, the poorest state of Mexico, in partnership with Compassion International. Join us at services this weekend, as we host a special guest from Compassion International and hear how his sponsorship and faith in Jesus changed his life and, how God is using him now!

During services, you will have the opportunity to join us as a Church family in our goal of making the biggest impact we can by changing the lives of 5,000 children in Chiapas! Can’t wait to start making a difference? Visit compassion.com/CBC to sponsor a child TODAY!

Baptisms

Anyone who has made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is eligible to be baptized. Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ. Baptism does not give you salvation, but it is one way to publicly tell others about your salvation, because it identifies you with Jesus. We will have baptisms during every service Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28.  It isn't too late to register, click here.
