Welcome to the GCVS October 2018 Newsletter!

Below you’ll find details of our first OpenSpace event for Third Sector leaders in the city taking place at the end of November as well as latest sector news and events.

Tomorrow night, the Herald Society Awards are taking place at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel. This fantastic event provides an opportunity to celebrate the incredible work taking place across Scotland's communities though local organisations, groups and individuals and naturally the Third Sector is a major contributor. Glasgow Third Sector Interface (TSI) is delighted once again to be sponsoring the Community Project of the Year Award, this year's nominees being:

•             Active Life Club
•             Easthall Residents Association
•             Fife Gingerbread – Gateway Initiative
•             Whiteleys Retreat
We are looking forward to joining colleagues from across the sector in recognising the efforts and achievements of so many and we hope to see some of you there!

Have a great month,
Liz McEntee
