The search for the new dean of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing has been narrowed down to three qualified candidates. We, the search committee, invite you to attend faculty and staff open forums that will be held on the Health Sciences and Lake Shore campuses.

Several days before each candidate interview, an e-mail will be sent with candidate information. If you have recommendations regarding references on any of our candidates once names are released, please notify John Hardt so that we coordinate reference calls through the search firm. If you have first hand knowledge of candidates that you’d like to be considered, please send a note directly to John Hardt as well so that we can add all information to candidate reviews following their interviews.

HSD Ignatian Spirituality Series
This week’s Ignatian Spirituality Series is on Thursday, November 1 from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. in the Alumni Center (SSOM 196). Michael McCarthy, PhD, will offer a reflection titled “Witnesses to the Kingdom: the Jesuit Martyrs and a Salvadoran Saint.” Lunch will be served. RSVPs can be sent directly to Lhackman@luc.edu or x63245.
