FWPA expects to reach about 2.5 million people with its current campaign, which targets consumers in Bushfire-Prone Areas (BPAs) to improve their product knowledge and understanding of building safely with wood. Read more
New research: increased positive perceptions of wood’s benefits support further code changes
The most recent biennial WoodSolutions tracking research has shown that positive perceptions of wood have increased.
Almost two-thirds of respondents thought changes to the National Construction Code (NCC) should be extended — and 90% of specifiers were aware of WoodSolutions. Read more

FWPA’s ForestLearning team recently visited Western Australia and Victoria for a tour that included professional learning workshops for teachers, biology sessions for students, conference field tours and trade displays at state teacher association conferences. Read more

FWPA Forest Research Manager Jodie Mason has been working for the last few months with a group of FWPA members, through the Grower Research Advisory Committee (GRAC). The group is collaboratively funding a suite of forest research investment plans to inform and promote investment in forest research, development and extension. Read more
