Cozy Community Quilting

Help us make three quilts for the community. Whether you’re a pro or you’ve never quilted before, take a turn at a sewing machine and watch a demo. Savor the feel of the fabrics, the connections with others, and the experience. All quilts will be donated to the Montana Veteran’s Home in Columbia Falls.

Embroidery Extravaganza
Learn to create beautiful shapes and stitches with our embroidery project. Yarn, thread, sequins and more will be available for children to collaborate and create a one-of-a-kind tapestry. Especially for children in grades K-6.

Kalispell: November 5-9, 3-6pm. All day Saturday the 10th

Battle of the Bulge: A Montana Perspective

Join authors John Driscoll and Randall LeCocq to hear about Montana’s involvement in the largest land battle in United States history, WWII’s Battle of the Bulge. At the end you can share your connection to the battle or buy a copy of the book and have it signed.

Join the Friends Book Club every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4:30 pm in the meeting room of ImagineIF Kalispell.

December's book: No Better Friend: One man, one dog, an extraordinary story of courage and survival in WWII by Robert Weintraub

Flight technician Frank Williams and Judy, a purebred pointer, met in the most unlikely of places: a World War II internment camp in the Pacific. Judy was a fiercely loyal dog, with a keen sense for who was friend and who was foe, and the pair’s relationship deepened throughout their captivity.
