UIMA Oct 2018 Update

OUR VOLUNTEERS
Bret & Michelle Johnson
Written by Bethany Timblin
We are so blessed to have Bret and Michelle with us on a weekly basis. They are both so ready and willing to step in wherever we ask them to. Bret, who has his A&P license, has been helping our maintenance guys with the planes, and Michelle has been keeping the hangar sparkling clean. She has also helped with planning our events and organizing. We are so thankful for all of their hard work.
Bret and Michelle are now part of the UIM Aviation family. The picture on the left is of the UIMA wives (those stationed in Tucson) getting together for coffee, and Michelle fits right in! On the right is a photo of Bret working on a lighted checklist that was eventually mounted on 999's instrument panel. Because of their volunteer work, they have helped the ministries in Mexico by freeing the staff in Tucson to focus on 52Q and bookkeeping.
The Johnsons relocated to Tucson from Northern California in September of 2017. They are parents to five kids who are at the tail end of high school and college. They found out about UIMA through one of our supporting churches in Tucson.
