The season of gratitude is here.

It is hard for me to believe that November is already here. The month of Thanksgiving, when we turn our minds and hearts to what we are grateful for in our lives. For some of us, the holidays are difficult. Our hearts may be heavy from loss, or simply the effort to absorb the day to day stresses around us. It can be difficult to then reach for gratitude. But, studies have shown that counting the things we are grateful for, no matter how small, can make us happier and healthier. Yoga Journal lays out some simple ways that Yoga can help us find an expression for our gratitude to help get us started.

If you still have classes left on a new student special, we are happy to extend your passes through November 30th. So, if you have some experience & know which classes you'd like to try, please just drop in to the studio. If you are new to Yoga, there are several classes that are still available for you to try, including Restoratives, Meditation and Yin. If you are exciting to begin with Yoga 1, but missed the start of the session and our Intro mini session, please let us know. We are happy to re-set your new student special for the beginning of the Winter Session (January 3rd). We want you to have the best start possible with your Yoga practice. Please let us know how we can help.

One scheduling note--there will be no Gentle class on Monday, November 12th due to teacher training. We apologize for any inconvenience and we'll see you when we get back!
