From our Pastors...
We have been so blessed this week by our church family. Thank you to everyone who has sent a message and provided an evening meal, we are truly grateful. We would like to take this opportunity in paying tribute to Vicki's mum, Carol. Carol was such a generous and much loved member of our church family. Since we planted Coventry Vineyard as a young married couple in 1998, Carol had always encouraged and supported us. She made us better leaders, by asking great questions and not being afraid to challenge us on where we were going as a church. In her own way, she served this church through quiet & secret generosity. Though our hearts are grieving we thank God for her life and influence.

In other news...

Tonight's "Seek Him" has been cancelled.
We encourage you to take time in the Father's presence and in particular pray for our church, our leaders and the 'Neighbourhood Sunday' Events this Sunday. For future dates click [here].

Last Christmas, Coventry Vineyard, (including the wonderful Dave & Angela McKay, who ran the London Marathon) raised enough funds to install 76 Bio-Sand Water Filters in Uganda through A Rocha Uganda.  The filters have been given to families and this has enabled people to get clean and safe water, reducing water related illnesses like diarrhoea,  saving money for families, and reducing the need for firewood. It is estimated that this has transformed the lives of around 1500 people. Thank You CV! Check out the following clip...

We are committed to encouraging people to be disciples who make disciples, equipping them to live lives as followers of Jesus and helping them express the love of God to those around them.

Our Journey Groups are one-to-one groups designed for those who have made the decision to go deeper in their spiritual growth, forming habits that help them to become more like Jesus and sharing Him with others. Click here for details and to sign up

Exciting news - Coventry Vineyard is launching GrowBaby!
As a way of showing God’s extravagant love in a practical way, we plan to have a store of children’s clothes and baby equipment at Mill Street. This will be made available to anyone in need. Other churches have found this really engages people and has led to many other community initiatives.

How can you help?
- Pray - That we meet with those in our community that need our help.
- Donate - Do you have baby/children’s items (in good condition) you no longer need? Have you seen any useful items in your local charity shop? If so, please bring them to Mill street or give them to Zia at Stringer Stringer on a Sunday morning. Please also spread the word to others who have things to donate.
- Give - You can also give financially to this initiative. Please mark any monetary donations as being specifically for GrowBaby.
- Volunteer - Get involved with sorting clothes or giving them out and building community with families – either chat to Zia or email her for more information.
- Publicise - Please talk to your neighbours and friends about this, and spread the word to anyone you think would benefit from this. We will soon have leaflets and posters available to give/display.

Thanks in advance!
