Fuse19 exists at the intersection of business and education — it is a conference for exploring the possibilities of design thinking, the maker movement, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Hosted by the Mount Vernon Institute for Innovation (MVIFI) and Mount Vernon Presbyterian School (MVPS), this multi-day experience brings leaders from education and corporate industries around the country to Atlanta, with the intent to inspire transformative impact and change. Participants will gain hands-on experience and build capacity as learners and leaders within their organizations and innovation teams.

Fuse19 is a three-day conference comprised of several component parts. On Wednesday, June 5, participants will hear Fuse Talks (think of it like a TED/TEDx event) from our amazing speaker list. On Thursday and Friday, June 6-7, people will engage in either the Fuse Sessions Workshops or the Fuse Design Briefs track. There is also an invite-only opportunity called Council on Innovation.

A diverse set of three-hour workshop sessions provide participants opportunities for deep dives into various topics centered on a myriad of design, maker and innovation topics.

Fuse Design Briefs
Thursday and Friday, June 6-7, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
An intensive design thinking experience in which participants provide design-thinking collaboration with for-profit or not-for-profit company partners while receiving expert coaching and guidance.
