Covenant Community Meeting
November 4th
Sunday Evening at 5:00 p.m. we will have a Covenant Community Meeting where we will walk through the Proposed Budget for 2019, present new members to the congregation, and discuss some exciting changes that will be coming in the next few months. It will be an important meeting that all the members of the congregation need to attend. ~ Pastor Chris
Mission House Needs
Ocean Park is a monthly donor to the Mission House on Shetter Avenue. For those unaware of the Mission House - it is a place for those in need to have a meal, take a shower, see a doctor, etc.
Here is a request from the Mission House.... While your children are trick-or-treating for candy this Halloween, you can trick-or-treat for Mission House! 🎃
Let your neighbors and friends know in advance the small items that we desperately need for our clients:
All items can be delivered to Ocean Park's secretary (see large collection box in the Nursery Hall). She will then make a delivery to the Mission House on Shetter Avenue.
Awana Snacks
Can't be a "regular" contributor for Awana snacks?
We will be happy to accept "one-time" donations of individual snacks and individual size boxed drinks. The above examples are just suggestions...
and....almost every week, Publix has individual snacks and drinks on sale as BOGO

Haiti Mission Trip
Pastor Chris and Jerry & Linda Benton will be heading to Haiti (March 9 - 16, 2019). They will be ministering at the Cabaret Baptist Children's Home which houses 53 youth & children. Please keep this mission team and the children at the home in prayer and consider if:
1. You would be able to support their trip financially.
2. If you feel led to join them on this Mission Trip. Deadline to sign up is Oct 31 - see Pastor Chris.
Last year our church provided Underwear, Socks, White tank undershirts for the children. Linda will be informing us shortly of what Ocean Park will be providing this year.

Thanksgiving Meal
November 18 - 5:00 p.m.
Last year we began a new tradition at Ocean Park Baptist - our Thanksgiving Meal.
Message from Pastor Chris I desire our church family to come together to give thanks as a body. We will incorporate singing, scripture reading, and public thanksgiving.
I am asking each family to prepare a one sentence confession of thanksgiving to publicly share with the congregation from this year. It can be thanksgiving for who God is or what He has done. I look forward for a meaningful meal to remember what God has done for us this year.
