Week of October 25 - November 8.

Lilac City Live is Tonight!

Hear from Sit and Be Fit's Mary Ann Wilson, music from Jenny Anne Mannan and more. Doors open at 7, the show starts at 8 and you can enjoy drinks from No-Li Brewhouse at any point in between. This is one event you won't want to miss!

Friends of the Library

Mayor David Condon officially proclaimed the week of October 21 Friends of the Library Week. The Friends give more than $40,000 annually to library programs and collections including Summer Reading, Books for Babies, and the library's new streaming service, Kanopy. We are so grateful for the support and partnership.

Earn Your Diploma

Adults who lack a high school diploma now have another way to get a second chance. It’s called High School 21+, a program that turns life experience into credits toward a high school diploma. Students meet with an instructor from Spokane Community College regularly at Hillyard Library and can check out a free laptop to complete the courses.

For additional information and to enroll at any time, call 509-533-4600.

Spokane Public Library partnered with Spokane Public Schools and the City of Spokane to create two separate bond propositions on the upcoming ballot. Remember to mail your ballot by November 6th (no postage necessary).
