From Preschool through High School, Caring Professionals are Key
According to RecognizeTrauma.org, 26% of our learners have experienced a traumatic event before the age of 4. Students who suffer stress from traumatic events need our help to feel safe at school, regulate emotions, and see themselves as in charge of their own achievement. Trauma Informed Practice is about understanding how trauma affects how students learn, and designing our classrooms and our instruction to help children heal.
