Over the past few years in Indonesia, millions of small business enterprises have been started, making it a challenge to survive among all the other rising start-ups. There are tools and tips you need to know to develop your small business to grow in Indonesia.

Brought to you by Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada), the Government of Canada, organized by BLOCK71 Jakarta, and in community partnership with ANGIN - “#TrainingDay: Helping Your Small Business Grow in Indonesia” is here to help provide tools and training.

The training goal is to introduce relevant Canadian best practices for small businesses through presentations by Canadian trainers (provided by APF Canada) on MSME business development in the area of human capital to MSMEs in APEC developing economies, focusing on Indonesia.

Dr. Sarah Saska is an academic turned entrepreneur, working to guide innovation (and the disruption that comes with it) to ensure that we build a future that brings everyone forward. As Co-Founder and CEO of Feminuity, Sarah and her partners have quickly become global leaders at the intersection of diversity and innovation, with clients from pre-revenue start-ups to $1.6B companies globally. Dr. Sarah Saska is uniquely positioned and qualified to do this work, as she has 13+ years of experience as both a practitioner and academic in the space. Sarah has worked as a practitioner with LGBTQA+ communities, (with a particular focus on violence against trans* women), and she has worked extensively within the global women’s rights movement in the areas of gender-based violence and sexual harassment. Sarah has twice been named amongst the Women’s Executive Network’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada. Sarah speaks internationally (Canada, U.S.A., China, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka) about the future of technology and its impact on people and has delivered a TEDx talk. Sarah has been featured in Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Financial Post, Vice Sports, and New York Times.
