First Graduating Class!

The morning of Friday, October 12th, 2018 was a sunny day, and everyone was beaming with joy as people mingled and engaged in happy pleasantries. It was graduation day for the first class of Tumaini International Girls High School; A new milestone for the organization!

We witnessed the procession of 36 Form Fours (seniors) who have been trained in character, academic competence, and respectful confidence march as each was recognized.  In attendance were the graduating class, students from the lower levels, staff and a few donors who traveled for the occasion.  The celebration was profound as it was a first for the school, and for the entire Tumaini International organization.

Please keep these precious girls in your prayers. The Kenyan education system requires that they take a national exit exam after four years which determines the colleges and universities that each student qualifies for. This year’s exams will begin on November 5th and run for about three weeks! The teachers have diligently prepared the students for these exams, but we earnestly need your prayers for them. Many of you have given funds for this school, sponsored some of the girls and prayed over the years for the school. I am genuinely grateful for your amazing partnership in this wonderful cause.

Thank you for caring!
