Whether the weather be fine
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold
Or whether the weather be hot,
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not.
Well, that was a mouth full... Last week it seemed like everyone was still wearing shorts! I guess we're in for winter weather for the meantime but who knows, we could have one more 70 degree day. Fingers crossed!
Regardless of whether or not you like the weather, we have a bunch of cool and helpful stuff going on this week that we know you'll enjoy.
First of all, it's still Fright Week and there are a bunch of spooky things to do! For starters, the UVM Ski and Snowboard Club's 10th annual Dawn of the Shred rail jam on Trinity Campus will be at 7:00 PM this Friday night! Don't know what Dawn of the Shred is? Check out this video from last year! Teton Gravity Research will be there with their Stokemobile as well as a ton of other sponsors. The event will feature face painting, tarot card reading, crafting, a hunted maze, free pizza, nachos, drinks and… did we mention there will be tons of FREE candy?
Are you undecided on what you want to study here at UVM or want to change your major or minor? Starting Monday, October 29th, is Exploration Week hosted by the UVM Center for Academic Success. Throughout this week, you will have the opportunity to drop by any of the various academic departments to sit down with advisors to have any questions answered and make a new academic plan that fits your specific needs. Click on the link above to view the official schedule for when drop in hours are for the different departments.
Lastly, did you buy your season pass yet through the UVM Ski and Snowboard Club? If not, your time is running out!
