BACK TO SCHOOL & BACK IN THE SADDLE!
It has been a very busy season for Hope Remains Ranch. August was a month of planning and praying for the new school year, our clients, our volunteers, and our staff! September brought a whirlwind of excitement as several of our programs began anew for the 2018-19 school year. Our Hoofprints of Hope team (miniature horses and staff) went back into the local schools to work with special needs students. At the same time, our after-school program, The Mane Event welcomed over 40 children to the ranch on weekday afternoons for Christ-centered and therapeutic equine activities. During The Mane Event, the parents and guardians participate in a support group designed to encourage and empower them as they raise their children. We are so blessed to a part of the Lord's work here at Hope Remains Ranch.We ask for your prayers as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Blue Jeans & Pearls, our annual fundraising banquet was on October 4, 2018. We had such a wonderful time fellowshipping with our friends and family. The theme that weaved through the evening was "Help for Hurting Families". The presentation was powerful as we heard testimonies from several families who we serve at the ranch. We also had the privilege of hearing Bobby McDonald, President of SC Christian Foundation, and Melanie Watt, our Founder and CEO, share a little about what the Lord is doing through Hope Remains Ranch. We were and continue to be overwhelmed by the generous outpouring of gifts and love from all who attended. Through your generosity, we received $102,870 at the banquet. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! May the Lord richly bless you!

Backline is a five piece band from Spartanburg, SC. The band came together in February of 2016. The band consists of Katelyn Ingardia-Guitar and Vocals, Travis Tucker- Dobro and Vocals, Louis Hughes-Mandolin and Vocals, Zachary Carter-Banjo and Vocals, and Jason Belue- Doghouse Bass and Vocals. Backline's choice of music material is 80% original written by members of the band or by the band itself. They also perform traditional covers arranged to fit their personal style. Backline's desire is to share their music through a more modern Bluegrass sound with enough traditional flare that it can be enjoyed by both old and new bluegrass fans alike.
