Teachers and students across the nation are counting down to our Music: Count Us In Celebration Day next Thursday 1 November, when singing stops the nation.
This year we have had record numbers of participants including almost 700,000 students, 10,000 teachers and 3,400 schools. We encourage you to join us in celebrating this wonderful event as it is live streamed from Hobart, Tasmania from 12.00pm (EDT).
If you are a music teacher or know someone who is, it is not too late to register and to be part of the largest free music education program in Australia.

Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Contemporary Music
Applications close 11 November 
The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The University of Sydney, seeks to appoint an Associate Lecturer or a Lecturer to the Contemporary Music Practice division on a full-time continuing basis. The ideal candidate will have had a wide experience in the contemporary music field and understand the relationships between performance practice, industry requirements and higher education. They will also have had public or industry recognition for your achievements and career in music at the highest level (awards, features, festival headlining etc).

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is looking for an Associate Lecturer or a Lecturer to the Music Education division on a full-time continuing basis. The successful candidate will have PhD or equivalent (for Level A, enrolment in a HDR program) in a related field of music education, will have begun establishing a research profile nationally or internationally, and will have practical experience in music education (classroom teaching, any age group).
