Epping Forest Community Safety Partnership helps fund police drugs operation

Epping Forest District Community Safety Partnership has helped fund a police operation carried out by Essex Police's Operation Raptor team in the Chigwell area which resulted in the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of about £30,000. 

Two men, aged 18 and 27, from Chigwell, have been arrested and charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs crack and heroin. 

Sergeant James Paget, from Operation Raptor, said: "This demonstrates the value of working in partnership and this operation has taken a significant quantity of drugs off the street."
