BBC Things To Do goes live!

As you may know, Culture24 is now the official cultural data provider to the BBC. This exciting three-year datasharing partnership gives museums, libraries, heritage sites and other cultural organisations the opportunity to feature activities on a new BBC website called Things To Do.

The good news is that the site is now live, and you can visit it at www.bbc.co.uk/thingstodo (sample page above) and with half term and summer holidays fast approaching, now is the perfect time to join the partnership and bring your activities to a wider audience via a range of projects and promotions across BBC One, Two and Four.

For full details on how to get involved, along with registration forms, visit www.culture24.org.uk/bbcpartnership or for any help registering or uploading your activities, contact conrad@culture24.org.uk

Also, Ruth and Conrad will be at the Museums and Heritage show later this week (details below) - so if you'd like to find out more about the BBC partnership, drop by and say hello!

May 13-15 2011

2011 is the biggest year yet for Museums at Night with more than 300 venues staging 400 events!

If you're taking part but haven't registered your event in the database yet, please do so now (here's how)! We're also asking every participating venue to count the number of visitors who attend their events - we may see more than 100,000 visitors this year!

Read what the team are up to on our behind-the-scenes campaign blog.

Whether or not you're running an event, we hope you enjoy the weekend - find an event to go to here.

Finally, the behind-the-scenes documentary will be screened on Sky Arts on Friday June 3 at 6.30pm (you can watch the trailer here).
