On October 25th, West End residents came together to celebrate expecting mothers in our neighborhood at the Community Baby Shower. The event was held to educate expecting mothers and their families about the ABC's of Safe Sleep and to provide an overall wellness checks for expecting mothers. Many new and future mothers were gifted with new cribs, baby clothes, and other baby merchandise.

With the support of Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses Trauma Team, West End Community members were able to join individuals from Cleveland, Atlanta, and other Cincinnati neighborhoods to share their stories about overcoming being a victim to trauma. The West End community members participated in a certification process to become chapter leaders and host local events to help others become empowered to speak up about their trauma.
If you have any questions on how to be involved in these events, please contact Sheila.Nared@7hillsnh.com.

In 2016, the community worked together to create the WE Speaks plan, West End’s quality of life plan. Residents and businesses identified key goals for the neighborhood.
How do those 2016 goals need to change now that the FC Cincinnati Stadium project is underway?
Over the next four months a local non-profit, Design Impact, is partnering with 7Hills, WECC and the Port Authority to engage West End neighbors with the goal of revising the WE Speaks plan. This revised plan will direct the investments of 7Hills and other potential neighborhood partners. Come out and be a part of this process! First meeting scheduled for Saturday, Dec 8th 10a - 2p at 7Hills, 901 Findlay Street.
