Consumer Campaign Launch

At last week's learning lunch, Keith Scott from A to Z Wineworks joined us to share more information about how to engage with B Lab's new Brand Awareness Consumer Campaign: "Vote Every Day. Vote B Corp."

This is the first time B Corps are coming together to activate a large scale brand awareness campaign to reach more consumers and bring their dollars and voices into our movement to use business as a force for good.

Here are ways you can quickly get involved with the campaign which launches November 12th:

1. Learn more about the coordinated campaign by watching B Lab's webinar.

2. Make sure someone on your team signs up to be in the loop for the Vote Every Day campaign. Please sign up to receive updates here. This is also how you'll get access to the digital campaign toolkit.

3. Join the next ABC Marketing group: Nov. 14, 5pm at Nossa Familia’s Seven Corners Café. RSVP to BLocalPDX@gmail.com

4. Want to share an idea for local activation? Email blocalpdx@gmail.com or see below about joining our new Slack work space.

REMINDER: The content in the webinar and any other information about the campaign is confidential to employees at Certified B Corporations until the campaign launches on Nov. 12th. Please explore the materials, but do not share the campaign creative externally until the official launch date November 12th.

What: Two-and-a-half hour session with on-site expert assistance in B Corp certification
When: 1:00-3:30pm on December 4
Where: Hopworks Urban Brewery, 2944 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97202

New to the B Corp Impact Assessment? Need some help figuring out where to go next with your B Corp journey? Want to learn more about the new Version 6 of the B Impact assessment? Sometimes, you just have to jump in the pool!

Bring your key players to B Local PDX’s Certification Hackathon, where we’ll fill the room with prospective B Corps, re-certifying B Corps, and experts on the assessment, including support from standards analysts at B Lab.

Whether you’re familiar with the assessment or this is your first real opportunity to dig in with your company, this is a great opportunity to measure your score and learn some best practices to aid in certification! We can help identify low-hanging fruit, build next steps, and suggest certification tools and resources to help you chart a path to 80 points—or beyond!

Heading into 2019, there’s never been a better time to get your company certified and equip your company for a successful B Corp certification!
