Argentina Think 20 Summit submits communiqué to G20, next stop Tokyo

Representatives of ADBI and seven Japanese think tanks participated in the Argentina “Think 20” (T20) Summit in Buenos Aires on 17–19 September. The T20 aims to provide the G20 process with research-based policy recommendations. As co-chair of the Task Force on Infrastructure for Development, ADBI Dean Naoyuki Yoshino participated in the opening ceremony where the T20 communiqué was presented to Argentina President Mauricio Macri and was a panelist in the plenary session on infrastructure. Dean Yoshino and other Japan think tank representatives also shared preliminary plans for research priorities for Japan’s leadership of the T20 in 2019.
