One week to programme launch, here is what you need to know:

Where we will be this year

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Ada College in Tottenham Hale, right next to the station on the Victoria Line (it takes only 20 minutes from Victoria station). This venue will host our programme and students.

Mentors are asked to arrive ready to start our morning briefings at 930am.

Who we will be working with this year

Joining us this year will be the selected students of Woodside High School (for the 4th year) and Aylward Academy (for their 1st year).
We will be starting the programme with 50 students on the 3rd November 2018 at our host venue at Ada College.

Autumn programme

Our Autumn programme involves launch sessions, team building, subject introductions and assessments. Mentors are welcome to join any of the 3-24 November sessions if available. 1 December will be our first actual mentoring session:

930am, 3 November - English intros, mentors welcome
930am, 10 November - Maths intros, mentors welcome
930am, 17 November - English assessments, mentors welcome
930am, 24 November - Maths assessments, mentors welcome
930am, 1 December - Maths mentor sessions, MENTORS NEEDED!

Other dates

630pm, 21 November - Info session and mentor training at Hult Business School, Holborn
2019 training dates TBC

Spring programme

When we resume in the New Year then more intensive academic mentoring will start and more mentors will be needed. If your volunteering time is limited then please reserve it for these dates:

Get a 2018/19 One Degree DBS certificate (all mentors) - reply to this newsletter if you need more details
