Augusta interstate night work closures required for tech installs
AUGUSTA - Due to rain delays, Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will install interstate traffic data collection devices on westbound sections of I-520 Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Weather permitting the current schedule will begin at 8:30 p.m. in order. Closures must be removed by 6 a.m.
Monday 10/29
- I-520 WB just east of exit 1; Crews will move about all four lanes.
Tuesday 10/30
- I-520 WB just west of exit 16 (Sandbar Ferry Road / Laney Walker Blvd); Work will cover one left lane and one right lane.
