Dino is a true pioneer and pillar in our communities when it comes to physical literacy. Dino as a pioneer bridged the gap combining strength and conditioning along with mentor ship which is the foundation of all game ready Program’s. in doing so Dino has helped countless youth achieve their dreams and goals whether becoming a professional athlete, police officer, fireman,business professional or simply being a mother or father who understands the value of giving any task one chooses to do their best effort. Dino is a partner, role model and a great friend. Anyone who has the opportunity to meet Dino has had their lives enriched as he is a true community leader.
A total of 17 years at Simon Fraser University (NAIA, CIS, NCAA) & 4 years at the University of British Columbia (CIS), as well as time as the Technical Director for Football BC, Dino’s experience comes from coaching University football for 21 years and successfully recruiting student-athletes across Canada and the United States. Game Ready programs have benefited from his experience and pure enthusiasm towards athletics. While Dino provides recruitment aid to student-athletes with The Recruiting Academy, he still enjoys coaching the fundamentals to students through Game Ready school and after-school programs.
Most Memorable Sports Moments:
- Winning the 2003 Hardy Cup
- Winning the International Bowl in San Antonio Texas with Team BC
- Playing, coaching and winning several Strum Bowls being a part of the excitement and cross town rivalry was great
- First NCAA win coaching at SFU, the first time ever a Canadian school won an NCAA football game.
