Keeping you informed of everything British Dressage is doing in Wales
Hi Everyone

Well done to all our Quest riders who traveled to Bury Farm for the Quest Final. We had some great results from our Welsh riders. After winning the U21 Team Quest Regional Final at Beacons Equestrian, Bling Thing went on to be placed 10th at Bury Farm. Our regional runner up U21 team Popular Dolls closely followed in 14th position. The Popular Dolls consisted of 10, 11 and 12 year old girls so this was a great achievement with a total of 24 U21 teams in the competition.

In the Open Team Quest section, our regional winners Too Cool to School took the 3rd position on the podium at the Final. Voarc Divas and Patsy's Pansies were placed 16th and 19th respectively.

We also had some great My Quest results! The new Quest season starts again on the 1st December!

BD Youth Fundraiser Show, Sunday 25th November, Ponderosa EC

Don't forget your entries for the BD Youth Fundraiser which will take place on Sunday 25th November.

Kindly supported by Ponderosa Equestrian Centre in Newport, the day will be full of dressage and Christmas cheer, with mince pies and Christmas music and maybe even some mulled wine too. We are hoping to see lots of Santa hats and tinsel too!

There will be classes across all levels from lead-rein Intro all the way through to Elementary, with a special PYO Freestyle to Christmas Music class too!

With thanks to some generous sponsors, we have lots of prizes, including rosettes to 6th place in each class, special rosettes for highest scoring native and the highest score of the day, as well as gorgeous sashes for the riders with the highest combined score across the two classes at each level. The sashes are kindly sponsored by Olympic team farrier, Haydn Price.

There are also a number of prizes for the winners of classes including lessons with Amanda Leaker, vouchers for Horse Rug Laundry and Cheval Unique!

We will also be running a raffle on the day and have some incredible prizes including a weekend away in a gypsy caravan, a side saddle lesson with Nicola Howell and sessions with Anna Jesty, Angus Correy Dean and Vikki Pengilly amongst other prizes.

Entries can be made online here.

All proceeds from entries, the raffle, sponsorship and anything else raised will go towards the BD Wales Youth fundraising pot for 2019 - why not enter and get in the Christmas spirit whilst raising money to support our young riders.

Thanks so much to the sponsors of our classes: Equi-Jewel by Emily Galtry, Haydn Price Farrier, Wye Valley Horseboxes, The Horse Rug Laundry, Park Dressage, Cheval Unique, The South Wales Argus, The Western Telegraph, Voice magazine, Monmouthshire and Brecon Living, The Free Press, The Farm Shop, Ponthir and Massey Equine Transport.
