Dear Oxgrowers
The weather lately reminds me of this poem by DH Lawrence:
The plane leaves
fall black and wet
on the lawn;
the cloud sheaves
in heaven’s fields set
droop and are drawn
in falling seeds of rain;
the seed of heaven
on my face

Thanksgiving Dinner at Oxgrow Sunday 18th November at 4pm
Join us for a fireside celebration of Thanksgiving in the Hogacre pavilion.
OxGrow's gardening session will be from 1-4pm, after which we'll retreat to the pavilion and put on the fire! If you can't make that, feel free to join us from 4pm.
What should I bring?
Bring a dish to share and (if you like) some wine for the mulling! We'll have made some traditional pumpkin pie. It's possible to heat things up in the oven if necessary - bear in mind that anything we use from the kitchen will need to be washed up afterwards.
Looking forward to seeing you all there! Anaïs x
