DALI Newsletter – November 2018

Welcome to the November edition of the DALI Newsletter from DiiA. This month, we are pleased to announce that our new DALI specifications, covering data storage and reporting in control gear, as well as power-supply requirements for DALI devices in luminaires, are now available for download from our website. Next week, we will exhibit and speak at LuxLive in London, so we hope to meet you there.

New DALI specifications now available to download

DiiA’s new DALI specifications on data reporting and power-supply requirements can now be downloaded from the DiiA website.

The five new specifications, based on the DALI lighting-control protocol, address the market need for intelligent lighting fixtures with sensing and communication capabilities and IoT connectivity.

The specifications define integrated power supplies in drivers/control gear; auxiliary power supplies; and also data storage and retrieval for asset management, energy reporting and diagnostics.
