Meet Our New Sister!
Nya Martin is a freshman at Tuskegee University.  Just like her older brother, Nathan, God led Nya to Tuskegee for a reason.

Nya lost her mom four years ago, and since them, she’s struggled with anger and confusion towards God. When she arrived at Tuskegee, she was ready to seek God and find that missing piece of her life. She began studying the Bible on September 2. Her heart began to change as she learned about God and his love for her. She attended the campus retreat a couple of weeks ago, and the messages cut her heart and led her to love Jesus more and want to repent!

Nya continued to study the Bible and decided to give up everything for God! On November 1, 2018 Nya Martin was baptized and added to God’s kingdom. Her older brother, Nathan, was overjoyed that he got to see God answer his four-year prayer! God showed us a miracle with Nya Martin. We are so happy that she has joined the body of Christ.

This Week's Memory Verses:

The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them. Ezekiel 18:20

On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.  Acts 20:7

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!. Gal 1:8

Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. I Peter 3:21
