Sunday School
Adult Sunday school is held Sundays at 9:30am.
Children & Youth Sunday school meets during worship.

Sausage Biscuits
The Formation Team will be offering sausage biscuits (and plain biscuits) for sale to raise funds for the annual St. Luke's Christmas Dinner.  They will be offered before worship this Sunday and will cost $3.00.  Your support is greatly appreciated!

Stewardship Season is Upon Us!
Please look for your pledge cards in the mail or feel free to pick one up in the narthex.

Tai Chi for Health
Mondays, at 6pm, in the fellowship hall. Free, open to the community.  Suitable for all levels and can be done seated. Call Cynthia Mealer for further details or questions at 833-1746.

Baddour Poinsettias
The Christmas season is approaching and the Baddour Poinsettias will soon be ready.  There are order forms available in the narthex and the deadline to order is November 13.

MICAH’s November Meeting
The monthly meeting will be held Tuesday, November 13, 7:00p in the Blount Auditorium at Rhodes College (2000 North Parkway).

Birthday Luncheon
The birthday lunch will be November 14th, noon, at Caritas Village, 2509 Harvard.  Honorees are Annette Bickers and Glenna Rohrbacher.

Saturday Supper
On Saturday, November 17th, come serve at St. Luke's United Methodist Church on Highland @ Mynders. Plan to stay from about 3:00 pm to about 5:30 pm. Call Susan Baldwin with questions 605-7704.

Session Meeting
The session will meet to welcome new members on November 18, after worship.  If you are interested in becoming a new member, please see Rev. Will.

Knitting Group
Will meet November 18th, at 2pm, here at the church.

Blessed!  A Feast to Give Thanks
Please join us Tuesday, November 20, at 6:00pm for the annual community feast with our friends from Beulah Baptist and Masjid Al-Salam.  The Nurture Team will provide turkey, dressing, bread and drinks.  All sides and desserts will be potluck.  

Church Decorating
Mark your calendars!  We will decorate our church for Advent and Christmas after church on November 25.  Please join us!

Blanket Drive for Room In the Inn
Help us collect 1,000 blankets to share with our guests this winter. 
- Bring Your Own Blankets (gently used, good condition)! 

REMEMBER: All blankets need to be in clean, good condition, large enough to cover an entire adult body (twin/full size), and warm! Due to severe limits of safe, free shelter in Memphis, many of our guests sleep outside when we run out of space for the night. A good, dry blanket provides at least one more layer of warmth on a cold night. We will take our collection to The Carpenter's House on November 27.

Baby Shower for Sara & Will
Please join us Sunday, December 9, after refreshments, in the Fellowship Hall to help celebrate the upcoming arrival of their new baby boy!  They are registered at www.babylist.com/baby-sara-dorrien-christians

St. Luke's Food Pantry
At this time, boxes of macaroni & cheese are needed.  Also, plastic grocery bags and reusable bags are needed.

Mustard Seed
Don't forget to stop by the store after church this Sunday, the holidays are just around the corner!
  The 2019 stewardship campaign will take place during the month of November. We hope you will begin thinking about your pledge for next year.
