This year was monumental for Ukulele Kids Club. Thanks to your support, financial and otherwise, we have expanded operations around the globe, covering all of North America, France, United Kingdom, Taiwan and elsewhere in Europe and Asia. Since our founding in 2014, we have gifted 6,500 ukuleles, making a huge difference to kids and their families all over the world. We also started a new program, the Jared Bergman Fellowship in Music Therapy, to train the next generation of music therapists. And we have installed a new cohort of board members and advisors, who have the skills, motivation and drive to take us into the future.

These kids have serious health conditions, but through the work of music therapists, plus the friendly and accessible ukulele, their stress levels are lower, anxiety lessens and outlooks improve. The moment when the hospital fades into the background, and these kids can laugh, sing and enjoy – this is why we exist.
