Vote for HOPE Coventry in under two minutes!
Would you like to give HOPE Coventry's Good Neighbours Coventry project some free money to help us give friends to even more lonely elderly people? All you have to do is vote for us on the Aviva website (free for you to register, and they don't spam you with messages). You have 10 votes, and we'd love you to give them all to us - but even some votes would be great.

Unfortunately, running HOPE Coventry projects isn't cost-free; the Good Neighbours Coventry befriending project is absolutely free of charge to our hundreds of lovely local older people and our fantastic volunteers, but it costs money to process volunteers' police checks/employ staff to help when things go wrong/print activity guides to tell isolated people about fantastic local clubs and groups/drive to assess people etc. So any extra money can make a huge difference to enable us to help hundreds more people!

If you would like to donate any money yourself to our projects, you can do so via our website.
City Praise and Prayer TOMORROW!
The fantastic twice-yearly celebration City Praise and Prayer is tomorrow evening (Sunday 11th November) at 6.30pm at CLM's The Welcome Centre, Parkside, CV1 2HG. This event will feature HOPE Coventry, so if you are interested in talking to the people who run Coventry Winter Night Shelter, Good Neighbours Coventry, Coventry Prayer House and more, do come along especially. You can join with hundreds of Christians from all denominations and locations from across the city for a lively and positive evening, as we seek to gather together to lift up Jesus in worship and to pray for His Kingdom to come in Coventry. If you've never been before, expect time for singing, short reflections with a call to action, time to meet Christians from other churches and areas to pray together - and expect to meet Jesus! For more information, email martin@clmchurch.co.uk.
Remembrance Sunday services tomorrow
This Sunday marks 100 years since the Armistice was signed in November 1918, bringing an end to the First World War. Churches across Coventry will be running services marking this occasion, to which all are welcome - to find your local church, visit our website. Many helpful resources for reflection at this time can be found on the HOPE Together website, including The Archbishop of Canterbury’s Six Rs of Reconciliation.
