LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD: OHIO DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SEEKING VOLUNTEERS
This year, the Ohio Department of Education will begin updating Ohio’s Learning Standards in Fine Arts and World Languages, and they want you to be part of the process. One way you can participate is by volunteering to serve on a working group for standards revision. Complete an online application, located on the revision webpage for fine arts and world languages, before the Dec.16 deadline. In 2019, committee members will meet in person and virtually to write any necessary updates to the standards.

In December, the Department will ask all Ohioans to tell them where they need to make updates to these standards through an online survey. The purpose of the revisions is to fine-tune and improve them where needed, building on what already is there and working well. Find out more on the Standards Revisions Overview webpage.
