Burnaby International Folk Dancers Newsletter
Continuing with the November program, we will reteach the dances taught last week and add one more. After the break, we will dance those dances again, along with some previously taught dances and some requests. We have many requests and so little time! Please continue to include your name with your requests so we can include them fairly, and we can check that the person who requested a dance is present when the dance is played. We will try to include a couple of white board requests as well. Please limit your requests to dances which have been taught at BIFD. Requests which have not been taught could be included as candidates for teaching.

Note that the Louis Riel Day Celebration, 8:00pm is happening tonight!

Please direct suggestions and feedback to the contact form on the website.

Bellingham First Saturday Dances

Next Dance: December 1st, with Orkestar RTW
7 – 10 PM at the Squalicum Yacht Club
.
Bring finger foods to share, and the suggested donation is $15.

The Squalicum Yacht club is the smaller of the two Yacht Clubs side by side on S. Harbor Loop Drive. (South Harbor Loop Drive is connected in a circle with North Harbor Loop Drive.)

How to get there:

From the North, go South on I-5, take the Meridian Street Exit and turn right. From Meridian, take the 3rd right (2nd traffic light) onto Squalicum Way. Follow Squalicum Way and it will merge onto Roeder Street. Shortly thereafter, there will be signs for Squalicum Harbor and Coho Way. Take a right onto Coho Way. The very first possible right turn which is identified with a street sign "N. Harbor Loop Drive", take that right and at the end of that very short road you are in a parking lot. If you would turn left you will see the Squalicum Yacht Club in front of you.

From the South, you can take Holly Street through town to "F" Street. Turn left onto F street toward the water and across the train tracks to Roeder. Turn right onto Roeder Ave Continue on Roeder to Coho Way (City Mac Store) Turn Left onto Coho Way. The first possible right is "N. Harbor Loop Drive". Take that right and drive that short "road" to the end, and turn left into the parking Lot. The small building in front of you is the Squalicum Yacht Club.

The address is 2633 S. Harbor Loop Drive.

Dancing starts at 7pm and runs to 10pm.  There is a $15 donation requested.
