Mentoring Groups Virtual Showcase
Mentoring groups have been supporting each other since 5 September in several areas, including developing teaching skills for Python; mock teaching sessions to prepare to teach a workshop; starting a study group around Data Carpentry lessons, and more! Our goal is to showcase the meaningful and impactful work being done within the community. We invite you to attend one of our meetup/virtual showcases on 8 November at 14:00 UTC or 23:00 UTC. Planning on attending? Let us know you’re coming by signing up on this Etherpad.

Last Meeting, Social Science Onboarding
Our last live onboarding to prepare Instructors to teach the Social Science lessons will be this coming Friday. Join us to learn about the curriculum, where to find resources, and how to prepare to teach your first Social Sciences workshop. Sign up on this pad. A recorded onboarding will be made available after 9 November for Instructors unable to join a live session.

A request for comments was also made regarding the outline of Member Organisation Reports, currently in the planning stages and still open for comments.
