Green Garlic Oil
As November ends, so does our Green Garlic Oil. We have only 40 (100ml) bottles left. Then, no more until June next year.  To show it’s versatility, here are the serving suggestions we send to our Cellar Door customers.  In short, it’s quite special with anything. To start:
*  add 5ml over a warm soup served in a teacup;

*  try it: over steak after cooking;
*  over fish after cooking;
*  as a base for bruschetta;
*  as a base for a seafood pizza – using any seafood;
*  for dipping cooked prawns (or even warm crusty bread);
*  spread over toast and top with scrambled eggs; OR
*  drizzle over pasta (on the day or on leftovers).

2017 Semillon (with a little Riesling)
Introduced into the Cellar Door last Friday, this wine immediately hit the spot. I describe it to tasters as “your next favourite white wine”.  Because it is also Gai’s favourite wine, we only have a limited supply!

Christmas Gift Ideas

You could have a Gift Certificate for any of our products, for any amount or you could give a Gift Certificate for one of Gai’s Degustation Lunches?  You won’t know what you’ve been missing until you have been to one of her lunches!

Nathan’s Choice Infused Oil (BASIL; ROASTED GARLIC; PARMESAN & CHILLI OILS)
“My ultimate pasta oil”. It’s been sometime since we featured this in our Newsletter – probably because it is becoming increasingly difficult to source good quality parmesan cheese (the principal flavour of the oil).  Sadly, the oil is more unavailable than it is available!

When you are lucky enough to score one, here is a serving suggestion for this absolutely unique product:
In a non-stick ‘wok-like’ saucepan, sauté some onion, chilli and crushed garlic in a drizzle of Nathan’s Choice Oil.  Put aside.  In the oven, heat several slices of prosciutto until crisp and crunchy.
Cook your fettuccine until al denté (Nathan prefers fettucine).  Drain and tip the pasta into the heated non-stick saucepan. Add a handful of rocket (+/- basil) leaves to the saucepan.  The leaves will wilt down in the heat of the pasta.  Liberally drizzle Nathan’s Choice Oil over the top and with a spoon or fork blend the fettuccine, rocket/basil and prosciutto (perhaps some olives) together.  Serve with shaved parmesan cheese over each dish.
