Homestead Harvest News
November 7, 2018
We are back in the grind and preparing for turkey harvests beginning next week. Chainsaw work took precedent this week since there were trees on the electric line where the cows were grazing. Once the logs were back at the farm we used the chainsaw mill to cut boards out of the beautiful maple and white oak logs.
Izzy and Ferdinand moved to new pasture close to the neighbor's fence line. Izzy "chatted" with the male donkey who is normally very vocal in his courting. I believe this must be one of the silent mating rituals of donkeys. Video
