Our First Major Capital Campaign in over 20 Years
Assumption-St. Bridget School is at an exciting and historic juncture on the largest and most important expansion of our school in more than two decades. It is a project that will positively impact all of our students and provide them with the modern facilities they deserve.
In 2017, we launched Celebrating Our Legacy, Building Our Future, a $6.5 million capital campaign to expand and upgrade our existing facilities. In the fall of 2018, we entered the public phase of the campaign and to date we have raised approximately $4.5 million with over 150 donors.
In this issue of Celebrating Our Legacy, Building Our Future campaign newsletter, we are excited to tell you about the progress we have made and the ways in which the entire ASB community can be involved in our campaign.

For over 70 years, Assumption-St. Bridget School has served as a model for Catholic education and has successfully prepared students for the academic rigors of high school and the opportunities and challenges of life.
Today, we have more than 500 students from PreK through Grade 8. Each receives an outstanding education that teaches them to think critically, collaborate effectively and communicate articulately.

While our achievements have been extraordinary, ASB School now stands at an important crossroads. We face numerous challenges with our current facilities, which are outdated, provide insufficient space for growth, and are not energy efficient.
To meet these challenges and strengthen our sustainability we embarked on a major initiative to expand and upgrade our existing facilities, including a new Library and Innovation Center, two new classrooms, specialty learning spaces, a new administrative center, and a new and more secure main entrance.

Building Update
Construction is planned to begin in early 2019. We are in the final stages of permitting and three appeals have been filed. On January 15, 2019 a formal hearing will be held to address all appeals. To read more about the hearing process, please click here.
