Greeksgiving - November 14
CFSL Ambassadors will host Greeksgiving on November 14th @ 6PM in the Student Center Ballroom. This year we will be collecting school supplies. Come out and join us as we create packages for elementary and middle schools in the Greater Third Ward Area.

HOUSTON PANHELLENIC COUNCIL (HPC)
Houston Panhellenic Council recently held Coffee with Exec. at the Student Center for members of the community to chat with the Executive Board about their positions and grab some coffee! HPC officers are wrapping up their terms on the Executive Board and just interviewed and slated many amazing and talented women from the HPC chapters on campus. The nominations committee had a wonderful time meeting everyone and hearing about how passionate women are in the HPC community. HPC also hosted a shirt sale for Greek or Treat event to benefit the Panhellenic national philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood. It is the first time in many years HPC has hosted a fundraiser for the philanthropy so there was lots of excitement as a council to be able to host the philanthropy. There are still a few shirts available for $16.00. If you would like to support the national philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood, please message the HPC Instagram for this worthy cause.

NATIONAL PAN-HELLENIC COUNCIL (NPHC)NPHC will have calendar selection on Tuesday, November 13th @ 5:30PM. Calendar selection is a council process that allows chapters to set and acquire dates for their Spring semester events and weeks to ensure that chapters have the opportunity to support each other's events and programs.

INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL (IFC)
With the conclusion of recruitment season in September, the Interfraternity Council was able to recognize and understand the impact that a formalized recruitment process would have for the council & UH community. IFC was able to vote in and outline a formalized recruitment process for the upcoming fall semester. IFC is excited to transition to this structure as it will provide great value to council visibility and operations.
IFC is also ecstatic for one of its council members, Karim Motani, of Alpha Sigma Phi to be elected as part of the 2018-2019 Homecoming Court. IFC is excited to support him in this endeavor and wishes him the best of luck! Lastly, we would like to welcome the incoming IFC advisor, Javon Miller.

UNITED GREEK COUNCIL (UGC)
On October 31st, the United Greek Council held their annual Fall Celebration event in the Student Center. Students, staff, faculty, and guests could purchase homemade chili, paint a festive pumpkin, or create a sugar skull mask! UGC is wrapping up the semester with the annual Fall Retreat to finalize plans for next semester. UGC would like to wish all fraternity/sorority members that are in the Homecoming Court good luck.
