PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH

THANKSGIVING MEALS FOR FAMILIES
Prince of Peace will be providing Thanksgiving meals for 12 families in need this year.  We are asking our members to provide the various food items; please check the sheet in the Narthex and sign up if there are any empty slots.  Please bring your donations to Church by Saturday, November 17th at 9 AM.

CRECHE SUNDAY IS DECEMBER 2ND
REMINDER...look for your creche's to bring in!  Coffee and goodies will be served.   Hope to see YOU there!

SUPERHERO COSTUMES NEEDED
For this year's Children's Christmas program, we're in need of child, teen and adult-size superhero costumes - can be any character!  Please email Vicki at vicki.zwart@gmail.com with what you have available.  Also, we need a couple of adults to play Mary and Joseph this year - they are speaking roles so please let Vicki know if you are interested.

NEW FUNDRAISER
Just in time for Christmas!!  Prince of Peace has been added to the Goodsearch listing of charities.  Here's how it works.  Go to www.Goodsearch.org and create an account.  Then, every time you need to search the web, go to www.goodsearch.org, make sure you are logged in and then enter the information you are looking for.  Every search earns a penny for POP!!  Additionally, you can use www.GoodShop.com and earn even more!  It doesn't cost you a thing other than the time to set up your account.  Spread the word and join the fun!  Let's see how much we can earn just doing what we would do anyhow!  For questions, please contact Lisa O'Reilly.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
And we want to let you know the BOOM COMMITTEE is planning a HOMEMADE CHRISTMAS COOKIE SALE!  It will be held both before and after Service on Sunday, December 16th.  Can you please help us by baking six dozen cookies?  Please let Chris Ewert know if you would like either ingredients or would prefer to be reimbursed for ingredients.  Your help will be very much appreciated!

DECEMBER LADIES LUNCH
Mark your calendars to join us on Tuesday, December 4th for our Ladies Lunch at Legends, Seven Bridges in Woodridge.  Please let Ruth know if you will be able to attend.
