Our PTFA had a brilliant meeting this week... with a few new faces and some very enthusiastic fund raising ideas! It's wonderful to see people working so hard to give the children a little extra in their school experience. Please remember that they, like you, are busy parents and could do with a little help once or twice a year to make light of the jobs they do! If you fancy helping with gift wrapping at the Christmas Markets let us know!

Next Friday is Children in Need. We are wearing something SPOTTY while donating £1. We will also have cakes@break included in the £1 donation.

The children have done a great job with their art work creating our remembrance feature outside the front of school. A huge thanks to Miss Lewis for coordinating the project. It really is lovely and very fitting.
We will remember - thank you to Mrs Lawson for capturing the work on WW1 Centenary this week.

Two of our staff have just graduated! A huge congratulations to Emma and Katie. They have set a brilliant example to the children in their quest to develop themselves and achieve higher qualifications. Well done ladies.

Our Sea School leader, Mrs Murdoch, is making quite an impact in school. We'd just like to take the opportunity to say thank you for all of her hard work. She has made such a difference to the learning across the school with her focus on plastics, and the Sea Water tank is looking brilliant after a very long break. The work of the Sea School Rangers is fantastic and an example to all. Thank you from all the teachers and children!

Year 6 have Friendship Day at the Ilfracombe Academy on Wednesday 14th November 2018.  Transport is being provided.  Your child will need a packed lunch.
A child in Class 4 has lost their coat. It is named and is dark blue with a hood and a furry lining.
Two jumpers have gone missing from Class 1,  both are named.  A pair of stormtrooper wellies in a named bag and a grey hoodie with NY on the front are also missing.
Please could you check your child's belongings.  Thank you.
Our Remembrance Day Dinner was a huge success and the children really enjoyed having dinner with their parents.  Thank you to Julie for the lovely meal and to Margaret who organised the lunch beautifully.
Clubs are now available to book online.  We have an exciting selection from film club to gardening club after school and animation, book folding and photography at lunchtime.  These are available to view on the school website and in the school foyer on the club board.  Please sign up as soon as possible to ensure your child's space.  Due to health and safety we cannot accept any children at clubs unless they have been booked in online.  Sports Club has been cancelled due to lack of interest and will not be offered again until the spring.
We are now joining Reception Class on the playground in the mornings at 9 o’clock. The children are joining in with movement to get their bodies warmed up and ready for learning. We also go over to the school hall for lunch. These activities are helping the children get used to spending time at school and will help with their transition to Reception Class in the future.
We had a walk to the library this week. The children enjoyed choosing books and listening to stories. The librarian commented on their wonderful behaviour-Well done Tiddlers!
As the weather has now turned colder please make sure your child comes to Tiddlers with a warm coat and suitable footwear so we can still play outside and take the children out for walks in our community. A spare set of clothes is also a good idea.
The children are loving their mindfulness/yoga sessions in the afternoons. We are hoping to purchase some lavender eye pillows to help them with this. If you would be able to make a donation towards these we would be very grateful. They will cost us £3 each.
We would like to say massive congratulations to Katie who graduated this week. We are all really proud of her achievement. Well done Katie!
Finally, if you have any questions or comments regarding your child and their time at Tiddlers we are more than happy to help. Staff are available at the beginning and the end of the day or if you require longer we can arrange a suitable time. Thank you to all of our Tiddler families for your ongoing support.

We are now able to accept 30 hour codes for children entitled from September 2018.  To see if your child is eligible please check the following website;
www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
Children who are already claiming do not need a new code but you will need to renew online when prompted by HMRC.
We are also registering children who are eligible for 2gether funding.  If you have not received a golden ticket and think you may be eligible please check

www.devon.gov.uk/2yearoldfunding
If you have a golden ticket please see Debbie or the Tiny Tiddlers team as soon as possible so that we can book your child in.
