…and Georgia Tech is Going!

The first Georgia Tech occupant groups are slated to re-locate to Coda in March 2019. Georgia Tech has hired an external consultant, Relo Strategies, to help facilitate a smooth move into the high computing, transformational facility.

This October, Relo Strategies began meeting with leaders from each Coda occupant group to plan and tailor their respective move management processes. Over the next several months, the company will provide move checklists, host move preparation forums, and remain available to answer your questions.

Keep your eyes peeled for move updates from Coda Move Coordinators and Champions.

Leveraging Coda Change Champions and Move Coordinators

In an effort to help ensure future occupants enjoy seamless transitions into the building, the Coda Community Building and Readiness Program formed a team of Champions and Move Coordinators charged with serving as the “boots on the ground” for everything Coda.

Change Champions are primarily responsible for getting departments and offices ready for their upcoming move to the Coda building. They will be responsible for providing guidance, feedback and expertise in identifying needed skillsets, functions, and roles for each person moving. The Coda Move Coordinators will serve as the primary points of contact for Relo Strategies. Move Coordinators will also interface with other internal groups associated with the logistics and moving process.

Coda Champions for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) groups will also serve as their units’ Move Coordinators.

Facilities Building Managers will serve as the Move Coordinators for research-related Georgia Tech groups (non-GTRI) re-locating to Coda.

If you have any questions about your Coda Champion and/or Move Coordinator, please email CodaBuilding@gatech.edu

Complete the Move Coordinator Worksheet

We would like to extend a sincere “thank you” to the future Coda occupants who have completed the Move Coordinator Worksheet. If you haven’t, please complete this worksheet by Friday, November 16th.

The survey should take no more than 20 minutes and will be used to help plan the move process.
