Some big stuff happened this week in history. If you have an inclination to travel back in time, take these 5 tips with you:
TIP: Hey you Adventure types, backpacking through the woods and hiking up stuff, avoid 1846. On October 28th the Donner Party is just getting started and it's a rager.
TIP: Head over to South Dakota on October 31st if you are in 1941 and watch Guutzon Borglum apply the final touches to his 14 year long art piece: Mount Rushmore.
TIP: Fans of 1969, stop off in California on October 29th to witness the creation of what we now refer to as the internet.
TIP: Stop off in Rome on November 1st in 1512. Michelangelo Buonarroti has just completed his work and the Sistine Chapel ceiling is now open to the public.
TIP: If you are dinking around in 1947 on November 2nd in California you can catch Howard Hughes fly a boat aka his Spruce Goose .
