East Atlanta and Ormewood Neighbors,
As East Atlanta residents, our development team wants to know what you think about the potential redevelopment of the historic Masonic Lodge at 525 Moreland, and the adjacent properties. We want to do a project that is a benefit and a resource to our neighborhoods and to neighbors.
Please stop by between 11 and 1 on Saturday to meet our development and design team, and to check out the design concepts we have shaped, with input gathered online and at the first community meeting two weeks ago. Let us know what you think - your ideas and feedback are very important and helpful to us as we begin to refine the redevelopment concept.

NPU-W - November Elections
|
|
- All individuals seeking to serve as an elected representative must submit the elected representative candidacy form to the Vice Chair of NPU-W no later than two (2) business days before the election in which they seek to participate. Failure to qualify as a candidate will preclude an individual from being able to participate in said election.

- Please sign this form and deliver it to the Vice Chair of NPU-W, Edward Gilgor, either electronically (email - edward.gilgor@gmail.com, fax - 404-920-3433 or hard copy, Edward Gilgor, 1388 May Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316).
- If the election is contested, in that more than eight (8) qualified candidates seek to represent a given geographic district, the elections shall be held by secret ballot. Each candidate shall be given the opportunity to address the electors for a period of not more than two (2) minutes, unless the electors unanimously wish to grant the candidates more time to speak, with a maximum allowable time of five (5) minutes per candidate. The order in which the candidates will be given the opportunity to speak will be determined by the Vice-Chair or their designee by drawing names out of a hat. Each candidate will be allowed to speak without interruption until their time has expired.
- The secret ballot shall be conducted on ballots prepared by the Vice-Chair in advance of the meeting. The qualified candidates' names shall be placed onto the ballot in a random order by selecting names out of a hat.
- The secret ballot shall be tabulated by the Vice-Chair and at least two other individuals who are not candidates using the NPU-W Vote Counting sheets provided by the Vice-Chair.
- Each individual shall sign the final count of votes on their Vote Count Sheets. In the event that the vote counts differ, then the votes shall be recounted. If following the recount the counts still differ, then if two counts match, that will be announced as the official result. If following the recount, all three vote counts differ, then three different individuals selected by the Vice-Chair shall start the same process again, until such time as at least two of the counts match.
- The results of the election shall be announced immediately after vote count is finalized.
- All election materials shall be held in the custody of the Vice-Chair who shall submit said materials to the NPU-W Secretary as soon as is practical. Election materials shall be retained for at least three (3) months by the Secretary.
