Happy November Bluegrass Music Lovers.

Here is a list of events coming up this month.

The IBA continues to sponsor several weekly and monthly jams. Check the website for dates, times and location.
Bluegrass Jams
Billy Strings Concert November 2nd, 7-11:30PM at the Olympic in downtown Boise. Billy Strings has been described by Bryan Sutton, the most IBMA award winner flatpicking guitarist of our time, as one of the emerging stars in bluegrass guitar. The show is hosted by The Duck Club which is an offshoot of Tree Fort. They have been active booking touring bands recently in the Boise area. Let's show them that there is strong support for more touring LIVE BLUEGRASS music in Idaho by helping make this a sell out show.

Auction of new custom built dreadnought guitar.
Mike Murray, one of Idaho's own great luthiers, has made an extremely generous donation. He has plegded his next custom, hand-crafted dreadnought style guitar with torrified spruce top and indian rosewood back and sides to the IBA. This guitar is currently in production and is expected to be finished within the next month. We hope to auction the guitar online before the Christmas holiday. What a great gift this would make for yourself or someone you love.
IBA Quarterly meeting and election of officers
The next quarterly meeting will be December 6th, 5:30-6:30PM at the Pioneer Building in downtown Boise(just before the intermediate jam). If you would like to get involved in a volunteer or leadership position or nominate yourself or a "friend," please contact us at idahobluegrassassociation@gmail.com

Hope to see you at a jam soon.

Cheers, Joe Gobel
