Hi Junior Church Families,

Welcome to the full month of November. Here are this month’s announcements:

Nov. 4 - Nativity Play Rehearsals begin! Our annual retelling of the Christmas story will be December 9, 2018 during the 10:30 a.m. service. Rehearsals kick off this Sunday (November 4) during the 10:30 service and continue on November 18, November 25 and December 2. On Saturday, December 8 we will have cast brunch at 9:30 a.m., followed by a dress rehearsal. We hope that your child will want to be involved in this year’s production!

Nov. 9 - Family Games Night - All are invited to join the Youth Group on Friday, November 9 for an evening of fun and games. The event will be in the Ethel Brown Room from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. There will be board games, snacks and a Wii. Contact Carol Ambler for details.

Nov. 11 - Remembrance Day - Please join St. Olave’s on November 11 as we remember all those who fought and still fight for peace. Junior Church students will be contributing to the day of remembrance by writing cards for soldiers on active duty.

Toy Drive - Our annual Christmas Toy Drive continues until Sunday, December 16. Please tell your family and friends that we are accepting new, unwrapped toys for children and youth who cannot afford gifts this Christmas season. You can drop off donations in the bin marked “Toy Drive” in the parish hall every Sunday.
