March 14-23, 2019: Israel / Palestine trip with CMEP
Have you ever been interested in traveling to Israel and Palestine and exploring the locations of the Bible, as well as learning about the context of present-day events in the region?
If so, the spring 2019 CCC team heading to Israel and Palestine might be the best trip you take next year! Led by Sara Burback and facilitated by Churches for Middle East Peace and Mejdi Tours, join us for nine days of immersion in the Holy Land and God's heart for peace and justice.
While this region is often defined by the conflict, we'll meet the Palestinian Christian population and explore the often-overlooked creative ways that both Israelis and Palestinians are pursuing peacemaking and nonviolence, including participation in the Palestine Right to Movement Marathon (as runners and volunteers)! We will visit the sacred sites of our faith, walk where Jesus walked and have our faith deepened.
We will also meet with Jewish, Muslim, and Christian peacemakers in the region and learn about the history and challenges facing this remarkable place and see where peace and shalom is being forged. • Email Sara Burback if you're interested in learning more »
