Welcome to November, family and friends!
In two months, 2018 will come to a close. In last month's newsletter you might recall me mention that I was excited about attending the Third Annual Christian Book Lovers Retreat in Myrtle Beach, SC. My hotel was booked, airplane tickets ready and boxes shipped to the hotel, but at the last minute, a family emergency kept me from traveling. It was so disappointing, because this is a conference Christian readers shouldn't miss. I was looking forward to the smiles, hugs and kisses. This year, more than 200 folks attended and this is just some of them pictured above. It was bittersweet looking at the photos, but it warmed my heart that my sisters-in-Christ were having a great time. Things are returning to normal and I'm back on track with my writing and preparing for my annual St. Louis Reader Appreciation event in January 2019. Tickets will go on sale later this month on Eventbrite.com. Thanks to all who have purchased a copy of The Guilty Generation. If you haven't already, I hope you will post an honest review. My annual Christmas novella, Christmas Dinner, will be released by December. I have a lot of book suggestions in this newsletter to keep you reading through many nights.
