Are you considering an Adventist education for your child? Why not drop by during one of Deer Lake School’s Open House events this fall:
Kindergarten - Mon. Oct. 29, 6-8 pm;
Elementary (Gr. 1-7) – Mon. Nov. 5, 6-8 pm;
High School (Gr. 8-12) –Mon. Nov. 19, 6-8 pm.
You will be able to tour the school with a staff member and learn about the life-changing benefits of educating your child in a nurturing Christian community committed to mental, physical, spiritual and social excellence.

This is an issue that affects everyone. Evolution teaches us there is no need for God, there is no spiritual realm, and there is no afterlife. According to the theory, spirituality is just an evolutionary trick of the mind!
The Bible gives a very different picture about the nature of these things. At this presentation, you will learn how the scientific evidence, when properly understood, confirms the details of the biblical account. At the same time, we will answer many of the Big Questions.

2018 YOUTH RETREAT
November 9-12, 2018
Annual Youth Retreat – November 9 – 12, 2018: Search and Rescue is our theme for the Youth Retreat this year based on Luke 19:10 scripture. Our guest speaker will be Nathan Wahl. All youth, ages 13 and up are invited to attend.

Don’t forget to invite a friend or two to come along with you!
With an event like the Youth Retreat, we also need to have other adults to help. Please send an application or apply on line to be an Adult Leader: Must be willing to mentor up to 7 youth and help wherever help is needed. Adult Leaders attend for FREE. A Criminal Record Check is required. Please call Shelley at 604.853.5451 ext 304, or email youth@bcyouth.com for the link to our online CRC with the Ministry of Justice. If your church/group is sending 5 or more youth, we request that an Adult Leader attend as well, as needed
